Five! It's a magical year made even more so by this magical vintage birthday cake topper featuring floating angels and a coral colored flower.

Handmade and painted by Sevi, Italy's most beloved toy maker since the 1830s. this little wooden cake decoration is at cute as it gets when it comes to setting a theme for your little one's birthday bash. 

Brightly colored in an array of pastel shades, this cake topper is a veritable springboard of inspiration. Colors include coral, pale sky blue, coffee, salmon pink, spring green, taupe, black, red and bright white.  Little wooden angels with pink and blue wings float and frolic among the flowers adding a touch of sweet natured whimsy to the whole celebration. 

Whether you decide to style your little one's cake with this big number ringed in a collection of birthday candles, or set amongst a real-life garden of fresh flowers, or accented with rolled fondant dots and swirls and their name spelled out in coordinating curlicue colors, it's bound to be a feast for both the eyes and the belly, just as all birthday cakes should be.

Containing the original Sevi sticker on the bottom, it's uncertain as to when this cake topper was made, but most likely it was sometime between the 1950s-1980s. Sevi toys and decorations are timeless in style and their cake toppers came with a variety of different characters to accompany the birthday numbers over the years. That makes vintage Sevis both fun collectibles and keepsakes.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition, this wood cake topper contains no chips or cracks. The paint colors are bright and vibrant and the little angel characters are securely attached. As with all Sevi cake toppers, this one was hand-painted and therefore reflects some errant paint spots and smudges. Please see photos.
