We don't often think about preparing drinks to match the coasters they are placed on, but when it comes to these two they are whiskey, bourbon, and brandy themed all the way.

As the holidays approach and the days get harried, these birds remind you to take a minute, take a break. They encourage you to sit down, relax, raise a glass, and toast the moment with a touch of your favorite spirit. 

Since there are two coasters, they prefer a little company... maybe a stolen moment with your sweetheart or a mini celebration shared between with friends. Either way, they'll bring a dose of good cheer to the moment, the holiday, the season ahead.

Featuring pairs of pheasants and woodcocks nestled in amongst pastoral country landscapes, these coasters feature the common bird name, their German translation, and the scientific name established by Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus (1707-1778).   

Reflecting all the colors of the autumn, coasters like these are ideally suited for cozy spaces  - a den, a fireside table and chairs, a book nook, or any spot that could use a touch of aviary companionship. 

Beautifully detailed, each coaster contains a warm color palette pf muted shades in moss, slate, dove, rust, almond, pine, nutmeg and olive. 

Lined with cork on back, edged in gold, and made of a coated wood material, they are easy to clean, lightweight, and appropriately sized to accommodate most types of glassware from cocktails to coffee.
