{HISTORY}

A family-run company since 1951, Faulk's Game Calls, based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, has been making award-winning handmade bird calls for over 70 years. Used for attracting and detecting wildlife, each Faulk call is made of wood, hand-turned and hand-tuned to replicate authentic bird and wildlife sounds including ducks, geese, squirrels, crows, and other birds.

This vintage Faulk's features a crow call and comes packaged in an original late 1950s/early 1960s paper box with plastic sleeve. Originally, this box held a duck call, as marked on one side of the box, but at some point in time the crow call took its place. 

Many outdoor enthusiasts use crow calls nowadays in locating turkeys, as they gobble when in close range upon hearing the call, but they can also be used to attract crows to your yard or neighborhood too. The Faulk's crow call is an authentic rendition of the sounds a real crow would make. 

Fun for nature enthusiasts, sportsmen and birders, this call offers a fun way to become more acquainted with crows in your landscape. It's also a lovely example of handmade woodworking art that is still just as functional as the day it was made over 60 years ago.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition, the call itself is in great shape and contains its original labeling. The paper box is in fairly good condition and is completely intact. It contains a bit of sun fading on one side and a light water stain on one end as well as inside the box where the duck instructions are located. The plastic sleeve has yellowed over time as to be expected with age. Please see photos.

The duck call measures 4.45" inches (length) x 1" inch (diameter) . The box measures 5" inches (length) x 1.25" inches (width) x 1.25" inches (depth). Together, call and box weigh 1.2 oz.
