Published in 1961, this French furniture design book is as beautiful in presentation as it is in content. Printed in Italy, it contains its original slipcover case protecting a bright and colorful book that share not only the stories of artists who made the furniture, but also of the collectors and the details that male this an interesting time period in the world of furniture making. Specifically, chairs, tables and desks are covered here with an eye on inventive multi-purpose furniture that highlights dressing tables, wine racks, chest of drawers etc. Vintage kitchen lovers will find interesting info on dining chairs, dish cabinets, and sideboards.

{CONDITION}

The slipcover case has aged to a color of toasted almonds and bears some bumps to its corners and a few chippy spots along its edges. The book itself is in gorgeous condition. Bright, colorful and clean - all its pages are intact and its spine is tight. there is a small rip on page 71 but does not affect the written content of that page. Previous owners nameplates on both the inside end page of the book and the back side of the slipcover.
