BALLERINA LENDS ITSELF - BLENDS ITSELF - TO REFLECT YOUR WAY OF LIFE... (FROM A 1950s UNIVERSAL BALLERINA ADVERTISEMENT)

{HISTORY}

In the early 1950s, Universal Pottery introduced their Ballerina line - a graceful, elegant dishware collection that came in a variety of designer solids and florals so that buyers could mix and match pieces with ease and confidence.

Made in Cambridge, Ohio,  the Ballerinas were a beautiful addition to the kitchen, offering fade-proof designs thanks to their Permacal glazing. This set of three luncheon plates features the Moss Rose pattern with an interesting back shadow effect and a complementary blend of pink, green and grey colors.
