In the quote above, Henry David Thoreau was talking about wild apples and the colors seen in such. But isn't this quote also a beautiful way to interpret all the colors of nature in the Autumn landscape too? Just like this snippet of literature, there is a little bit of the rusty blotches and the spacious fields, the yellow ground, the green and the russet hills in this vintage plate collection featuring harvest fruits, mallard ducks and bouquets of wheat.  

This set of three vintage mix and match accent plates date from the 1800's to the 1970's. Offering a rustic and cozy landscape for your table or seasonal decor, they are especially pretty for wood-side cabins, nature-themed interiors and country cottages.

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

This set includes the following three pieces:

- One 10" inch Lamberton Sterling dinner plate featuring Mallard ducks. It was made between 1954-1972 in Wellsville, Ohio. 

- One 6.25" inch Cunningham & Pickett Bread and butter plate in the Wheat Spray pattern made in Alliance, Ohio during in 1957.

- One 5.75" inch antique berry bowl marked Gold Fruit on the back. There is no maker's mark or date of manufacture but most likely it, based on style, age and composition it was made in England during the 1800's. 

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage and antique condition, this set is free of chips and cracks. There is some fading around the rim of both the Wheat Spray and Mallard plates. There is gorgeous crazing on the Gold Fruit bowl.
