{HISTORY}

Climbing their way towards spring, this vintage floral cup and saucer features a buttery yellow and cranberry red lattice pattern highlighted with sprays of pink, blue and melon flowers.  Made of bone china by famed British ceramic manufacturer, Aynsley, this is a hard to find color palette amongst Aynsley's lattice designs.

Made in England between the 1930s-1950s, this set is an exquisitely detailed arrangement of pattern, color and design that is eye-catching from every angle. The exterior of the cup is bright white with a gold stripe accenting its middle, base, handle and scalloped rim. the interior of the cup features a wide cranberry stripe, four floral swags, lattice designs and gold stripes. The saucer repeats that same interior pattern on the front and a solid bright white on the back.

In absolutely gorgeous condition, this pair look practically brand new. Thanks to their richly-hued shades, it is a lovely serving companion to an array of baked goods. Confections like cranberry studded scones, banana bread, pound cake, an assortment of decorated cookies and cupcakes all compliment the Aynsley color palette ensuring that whatever treat you are serving alongside this set, it will be a beautiful feast for both the belly and the eyes.
