{HISTORY}

From the city that brought us Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Lena Olin, and Jenny Lind comes this beautiful collection of Swedish shabby chic soup bowls. Light and airy,  these five were made by Gustafsberg in Stockholm between 1910-1940. They feature the Hawthorn pattern, also known as Hagtor in Swedish, which is a delicate floral design of pale pink and blue blossoms on leafy mulberry-colored branches highlighted by an embossed shoulder and scalloped edge. 

Containing lots of lovely crazing, faded gold rims and some random spots of light staining around the rim each bowl is unique in its aged character making them so pretty and visually interesting for display or decorative table design. 

Featuring all the gorgeous hallmarks of Scandinavian decor - elegance, simplicity, and that wonderful combination of light and airy color palettes,  these bowls embody the best features of pretty Scandinavian dishware. Just perfect for anyone who wants to bring a bit of instant history to your home.

{CONDITION}

In lovely antique condition, these bowls all contain a beautiful shabby chic aesthetic. They are over 100 years old and look very much their age due to light staining spots around the rim, worn gold areas around the edge, and beautiful crazing marks. One bowl contains three small chips around the rim and another owl contains one chip around the rim. All these chips are less than 1/8th inch in size.  None of the bowls contain cracks or significant chips. Please see photos.
