Antique Salem China Co Gravy Boat circa 1912 - Sachco Pattern
{HISTORY}
Made by Salem China Company in Salem Ohio in the early years of the 20th century, this antique gravy boat features an elegant diamond cross-style design with a gold pinstripe. Scalloped along the rim and embossed along the handle, this is one of those antique gravy boats that defies decades and aesthetics. Simple enough to always be effortlessly in style, its classic shape and gold and white color palette make it amenable for every season, every decade, and every century.
A rare pattern from Salem, a pottery that was in business between 1898 and 1960 , this Sachco pattern is now very hard to find. A fun mismatch for other antique dishware pieces that feature a gold and white aesthetics, we especially love it when paired with this platter and these plates, That's the joy and creativity in curating classics. They travel the decades beautifully no matter what century you like to collect.
