Functional and fun on so many different levels, this vintage enamelware pail once fit inside a garbage can, acting as a liner long before plastic garbage bags were invented. The interior wire handle folds down to one side for quick and easy storage and toting.

Somewhere along life's journey, the can and the liner parted ways, but this handy helper still remains one of the most practical workers on the domestic front. We just absolutely adore it for all sorts of purposes, from displaying a big bouquet of cut flowers to collecting vegetables in the garden to coralling all sorts of odds and ends inside and outside your home. There is really no end to the usefulness of such a vessel. 

With classic farmhouse appeal, this pail looks right at home carrying a batch full of kindling sticks from the woods as it does a bucket full of clams from the beach. Fill it with ice and you have an impromptu drink cooler in which to nestle your chilled beverage bottles. Make it an honorary member of your cleaning crew and use it for mopping floors, soaking linens, or washing windows. Put it to work on the farm for all sorts of hauling and collecting tasks, from gathering eggs in the chicken coop to carrying feed to livestock or seed to the bird feeders. As an organizer, use it to store craft supplies, kids' toys, pet accessories, pantry supplies, cleaning products, extra linens, kitchen rags, umbrellas, beach gear, garden tools... we could go on and on, but you get the idea.

{CONDITION}

In beautiful vintage condition, this pail is clean and bright on both the interior and exterior. As with all vintage enamelware, a bit of weathered character is contained in the minor rust patches that give it 100% authentic charm and style. The enamelware body is smooth, shiny and scratch-free. The handle operates smoothly and is securely attached. The rim of the pail is ever-so-slightly misshapen so that its not a perfect circle. This is barely detectable and is not at all apparent in the body shape. Please see photos.
