{HISTORY}

In the early 1950s, Universal Pottery introduced their Ballerina line - a graceful, elegant dishware collection that came in a variety of designer solids and florals so that buyers could mix and match pieces with ease and confidence.  

Made in Cambridge, Ohio the Ballerinas were a beautiful addition to the kitchen, offering fade-proof designs thanks to their permacal glazing. This set of two matching teacups and saucers features the Moss Rose pattern with an interesting back shadow effect and a complementary blend of pink, green and grey colors. The Moss Rose pattern came in two different types of design - one with a silver rim and the other without. These two matching teacups and saucers each feature the silver rim style. 

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

- Colors include ballet pink, evergreen, salmon,  raspberry, spring green and pale grey

- Matching set of two

- Four pieces total (two cups and two saucers)

- Stamped on bottom of saucers with maker's mark

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks.  The saucers contain light crazing and there is a small stain (about the size of a quarter) on the interior of one cup. Please see photos.

{SIZE}

Each cup measures 4" inches (diameter) x 2.25" inches (height). Each saucer measures 6.25" inches (diameter).
