Vintage Universal Ballerina Moss Rose Berry Bowls - Set of Two circa 1950s
{HISTORY}
In the early 1950s, Universal Pottery introduced their Ballerina line - a graceful, elegant dishware collection that came in a variety of designer solids and florals so that buyers could mix and match pieces with ease and confidence.
Made in Cambridge, Ohio the Ballerinas were a beautiful addition to the kitchen, offering fade-proof designs thanks to their permacal glazing. This set of two matching berry bowls features the Moss Rose pattern - a bold floral with an interesting back shadow effect and a complementary blend of pink, green and grey colors. The Moss Rose pattern came in two different types of design - one with a silver rim and the other without. These two matching bowls each feature the silver rim style.
