{HISTORY}

Sparkly and shimmery like champagne, this trio of antique porcelain salad plates adds a touch of glimmer to any table. Containing violet flowers in shades of pink and purple, each plate is handpainted, making them individual works of art in and of themselves. 

Sized for salad at 7.75" inches in diameter, they would be equally lovely as dessert plates or cheese trays - perhaps served with that lovely aforementioned glass of bubbly.

Since they are unmarked on back, it seems that this group is holding on to all the secrets of when and where they were made. That makes them an especially fun conversation starter, and a prize should be in order for the guest who comes up with the greatest story. Who was the person who painted these plates? Where did they live? Whom did they love? What reasons brought them to these dishes and did they ever anticipate that you (yes, specifically YOU!) would be encountering them now?

The world is a big place but we are all intimately connected.  Who needs Netflix when you have dramas unfolding right at your fingertips?!
