{HISTORY}

We've written quite a bit about the talented Haviland family in both the shop here and on the blog here. True masters of their trade, they've produced some of the most exquisite dishware designs the world has ever known. Even Claude Monet was impressed and inspired by their work!

In keeping with their fine craftsmanship, their eye for detail, and their stunning arrangement of design and color, we are so excited to offer this beautiful set of antique CH Field Haviland Limoges serving pieces from the pottery of Gerard Dufraisseix and Abbot and Charles Field Haviland. Made in France around the turn of the 20th century, these two porcelain pieces feature pink-petaled flowers, trailing vines, wreaths of thyme or olive leaves and gold pampas grass style embossed handles.

Most likely the bowl was used for serving vegetables and the plate for relishes, but being useful and accommodating to all types of food these days, these two will become easily indispensable for all your cooking and serving needs.

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

- Pink, green and gold color arrangement on bright white porcelain

- Stamped on the back with both the GDA FRANCE mark as well as the CH FIELD  HAVILAND LIMOGES mark. The plate also bears an additional impressed mark with an X and the number 13

{CONDITION}

In gorgeous antique condition. No chips or cracks. There is some rubbing around the gold rim in places on both pieces. Please see photos.
