{HISTORY}

Attached to all different brands inside one big brand, this 1950s era Rhythm Rose pattern was made by Homer Laughlin for their Kitchen Kraft series and was sold by Household Institute. Homer Laughlin's Kitchen Kraft line debuted in the 1930s as a streamlined version of kitchenware with smooth shapes and wide-open areas where pattern decals could easily be placed and arranged.

Pretty oven to table bakeware was a popular dishware style choice especially in the 1930s - 1950s. This Rhythm Rose pattern came in a whole complete line including mixing bowls, serving pieces, pie plates, and an assortment of platter sizes. Featuring a pink rose in the center and a ring of blooming roses around the edge, all in various states of opening, this pattern is a true beauty in all its stylish simplicity. Light grey shadowing behind each flower adds a little dramatic glow like a theatrical spotlight which makes us think of old Hollywood glamour and movie starlets of the 1940s.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks or crazing. Some light utensil marks can be seen around the center rose. Please see the photos.
