Vintage Handpainted Wood Cheese Box Round - Floral Painting Signed - 1980's Dufeck Painted Wood Box
Wine and cheese are ageless companions, like aspirin and aches or June and moon, or good people and noble ventures. M.F.K. Fisher
{HISTORY}
This strong and sturdy wood cheese box was made by Dufek Wood Products in Denmark, Wisconsin, a company who has been building wood containers for the dairy industry since the early 1900's. Enhanced by another creative artist in the late 1980's, this box was then white-washed and handpainted with a lovely pastel floral bouquet that sets a bright and cheerful tone for kitchen display or storage possibilities.
With its large accommodating size, options abound as far as potential uses for this beauty. With its lovely dash of cottage charm and functional storage ability, it serves both as a decorative art piece and an organizer for errant kitchen supplies and linens.
