There are some light cooking splatters and stains on the fore edge and minor wrinkling of some pages. A random cooking spot can be found on a few pages and some notations on certain recipes can be found in the baking section. There is a small tear in the exterior binding at the spine crease that measures 1\" inch in length but does affect the interior binding. The ribbon markers have faded over time to a light coral from their original bright red.
