There is something very wonderful about decorating your Christmas tree, garlands or mantelpieces with traditional glass ornaments. So many modern-day ornaments are made of plastic - a much more practical material - but vintage glass adds an air of delicate charm to your decorating that mirrors the fragility of life and the care that has been taken to protect such important family memories for decades. 

This set of four Christmas by Krebs glass ornaments was made in the 1980s. They feature silver glass balls with a frosted band around the center that is highlighted with scroll designs in gold glitter. Authentic oxidation marks, caused by time, can be seen mostly on the base of ornament, adding an extra layer of aged patina. Classic, festive and particularly sparkly reflectors of light - these tree ornaments look great at all times of the day whether your Christmas room is bathed in bright natural light or accented by the glow of candles and tree light at night. 

Originally, founded in Bavaria in the 1940s by the Krebs family, the Christmas by Krebs brand has been making exquisite ornaments for over 60 years. Sought after around the world, they opened an American plant in Roswell, New Mexico in the early 1970s and have been defining the holiday spirit for millions of Americans around the country ever since.
