That's right J.R.R! Around here, we believe every meal should be merry from the food to the company to the table setting.  This vintage set of two bachelor button dinner plates, made by Taylor Smith Taylor will help add some festive cheer to your cook space, your culinary creations, and your mealtime atmosphere.

Bachelor button flowers are known by several other names  - cornflower, ragged robin, and blue bottle to name a few. This dish pattern is also known by a few names too - Versatile, which refers to the dish shape, TST - which is the abbreviation for its manufacturer Taylor Smith Taylor, and also Boutiniere - which is a similar pattern to Bachelor Button but is it's own separate design and line of dishware altogether. 

Versatile launched at Taylor Smith Taylor in the 1950s. It featured smooth shapes and rimless edges for a more modern, sleeker look, unlike anything the pottery had produced before. Bearing many different patterns within this style,  the Versatile Bachelor Button pattern debuted in the 1960s and was offered in full sets of matching dishes up to 93 pieces.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition! There are no chips, cracks, staining or crazing. There are two tiny (pinpoint size) flaked chips on the bottom underside of each plate near the rim. These are both so small and inconsequential you'll barely notice them, and they cause absolutely no harm to the use of the plates.
