{HISTORY}

We like to think of these two vintage cocktail napkins as the British Bohemians of the linen closet.  Embroidered with hearts, triangles, and flowers each napkin design is complete with a tiny crown atop the box of an intricately executed drawn work daisy.

If you are unfamiliar, drawn work is a style of needlework that involves pulling and cutting away threads one by one in order to create a design that floats within a frame. It's very meticulous work, and in the case of these two, the drawn work design created is a daisy-like flower with delicate petals. Hemstitching around the entire edge adds extra flair and interest. 

Although drawnwork is a very elegant sewing skill to master, these two napkins are not fussy. Instead, this pair lends a casual boho vibe to the happiest of happy hours. Embroidered on soft linen, they look equally great pressed as they do with a few relaxed wrinkles, so if ironing is not your thing, no worries, these two are here to add effortless style to your summer picnics, garden parties and seaside soirees.

In lovely vintage condition, these napkins contain no spots, stains, rips or pulled threads. Please note, the flower embroidery is delicate. While a matching pair, each napkin was handmade and therefore retains its own individual character.
