For a practical person with a sentimental side... (G.E. Holiday advertising campaign, 1940's)

{HISTORY}

Back in the 1940's, a new type of mixer popped onto the market that changed the way home cooks looked at traditional mixers. With the introduction of General Electric's Triple Whip, consumers saw three beaters take the place of the more traditional two beater pair, and in doing so produced lighter, fluffier and more evenly mixed batters in a shorter amount of time. Along with this impressive new machine came two milk glass mixing bowls in two different sizes, large and small, both ready to get to work with as much enthusiasm as their electric counterpart.

Somewhere along the kitchen counter of history, this small milk glass mixing bowl lost its packaged together companions and forged an adventurous life all on its own alone. With its beehive shape and petite size, it is an invaluable tool in the kitchen. No doubt, it's seen its fair share of kitchen activity over the past 75 years, but you'd never know it, to look at it. Still so bright and shiny, it carries its age well, retaining none of the battle scars of disastrous kitchen mishaps but instead harboring only all the joy and charm of thousands of vintage kitchen projects spread out between two centuries. You can't go wrong with a classic white mixing bowl like this one - they match everything, hold up well for all sorts of projects and make cooking effortlessly stylish no matter what the decade. Cheers to another 75 years of kitchen fun with this little wonder and cheers to you for falling in love with it.
