{HISTORY}

Hand-loomed with the softest wool thread, this stylish vintage runner rug offers a host of decorating possibilities stuffed inside its 4 and a half foot frame. While there is no maker's mark to provide insight into a specific artisan, it is clear that whoever made this beauty certainly took time and care to produce an interesting and well made piece. {CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. The fabric holds its shape well and has a soft but firm fuzzy texture. There is one puled thread area on one edge that measures 1/2" inch in length and width. One very small slightly lightened color splotch on one side in the stripe area and one slightly yellowish color variation near the middle diamond pattern one side (it is difficult to determine on this one if it is part of the natural colors in the wool thread or the result of a little previous spilling adventure). The fringe on each end is also two different lengths. Please see size section for details.

The rug contains no odors. It is also easily washable by pre-soaking in cold water for 10 minutes and then soaked again in cold water with a tablespoon of mild detergent for another before rinsing clean (in cold water!) and left to hang dry for 24 hours out of direct sunlight. 

{SIZE}

Measures 54" inches in length (not including the fringe) or 60.5" inches length (with fringe) x 14.5" inches (width). The fringe on each side is two different length. One side measures 4.5" inches while the other measures 2.5" in inches in length.
